(New Richmond, Wisc.) - Since opening its doors in July 2012, the Break Time Café & Coffehouse in New Richmond has hosted its share of events. Every Friday evening, there is live music and a wine bar, offering 14 varieties of wine. There have also been corporate meetings, birthday celebrations and bridal showers held at the establishment.

On Friday, Sept. 20, between 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., The Break Time will try something new. The café & coffehouse, located at 228 Pepperjack Drive, Suite 1 in New Richmond, will host its first book reading, discussion and signing event featuring two award-winning authors from the Twin Cities.

Marilyn Jax and Colleen Baldrica have both earned stellar reputations for being engaging speakers. Baldrica speaks on the topics of making it through life’s transitions and establishing connections. Jax regularly leads mystery writer’s workshops, and also speaks on the components of good writing, the publishing process and the future of books. The authors will both read from their books and answer questions from those in the audience.
