Another big win for a nonprofit RMA Publicity has been handling PR for since 2021. Coated in Love puts on 3000 Acts of Kindness every year to help people who are experiencing homelessness; and in 2025, RMA Publicity secured media about the event on five media outlets: WCCO TV, KSTP TV, KARE TV, CCX Media and WCCO Radio.
Television stations WCCO, KSTP and KARE TV all went live during their morning shows. WCCO Radio and CCX Media provided coverage too. Between the morning show coverage and other media placements secured throughout 2025, Coated in Love received more than 37 minutes of airtime on television and radio stations in Minneapolis and three print stories.
RMA Publicity has been handling PR for this event since its beginning, and the need for this event has grown exponentially over the years. Nearly 3,000 people were served in 2025. In addition to receiving necessities to live in the winter months, such as coats, hoodies, boots, hats, gloves, and hygiene kits, everyone who came got access to 60 social service agencies that provide assistance with such things as mental health, addiction treatment, job placement and housing. People were also able to access personal services, such as haircuts, chiropractic adjustments, footcare and so much more.

For families that have lost a loved one, the holidays can be tough. There will always be an empty seat at the table. Mother's Day 2025 was bittersweet for Debbie Gail Zane of Warrenton, Virginia. Since losing one of her three children to mental illness and drug addiction, she has started off every Mother's Day at Fairfax Cemetery in Virginia where Alex is buried. This year, a news crew from WJLA TV (Washington, D.C.) accompanied her to the gravesite to hear her message for mothers like herself who are grieving the loss of a child. Also in May, Debbie's story was featured in Warrenton Lifestyle Magazine.
RMA Publicity also secured media placements for Debbie in Thanksgiving 2024. Both WUSA-TV and WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. interviewed her. She shared how families can keep the memory of a lost loved one alive when they come together. In addition to sharing tips, Debbie also talked about her memoir, Finding Peace and Purpose Amidst the Tears: My Journey of the Love and Loss of My Son Through His Mental Illness and Addiction.

When it comes to securing publicity for your product or service, timing can be everything. Sara Madrinich of Adventure is Barking, a Hopkins, Minnesota-based dog training business, contacted RMA Publicity in late February 2024 seeking PR for a planned expansion of her business.
We developed a pitch for the media that got the interest of every single major news outlet in town. KSTP and WCCO and KARE TV all came to check out Adventure is Barking's new Exploring Tails Camp setup the week before the March 4, 2024, grand opening.
A few days after the business started welcoming customers, Shayne Wells from FOX 9 Minneapolis went live from Adventure is Barking’s “Exploring Tails Camp." The morning of March 12, 2024, she was live in the 6 a.m., 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. shows. Stories also aired at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The business got an amazing 17 minutes and 44 seconds of airtime on FOX 9.
A few days later, the story, "Owner of Hopkins doggie day care shares tips for helping pups learn good manners" by reporter Katy Read publishes in the March 16 edition of the Star Tribune's Inspired section. The story appeared on both the front and back pages of the Variety section of the paper.
“Exploring Tails Camp” is a cutting-edge dog daycare and boarding facility that redefines the standard for canine care. Catering to the needs of furry companions, this new establishment combines Adventure is Barking’s Montessori-based daycare for dogs, "Tail-Tessori," with exceptional boarding services, providing a haven for dogs seeking both mental stimulation and cozy comforts.
