There’s nothing better than feeling the wind in your face as you ride a bicycle down the sidewalk. For many seniors, that used to be an experience they could only dream about getting to do again, but it happened on July 14, thanks to the Wisconsin-based company, Limitless Cycling.
WCCO Television reporter Beret Leone was there as seniors were taken for rides on adpative bicycles. One of the bikes has a bench that can seat two with a rider behind it who pedals. Another has a platform for a wheelchair, and again a rider who sits behind it to pedal.
Limitless Cycling is a free service run 100 percent by volunteers who get great joy out of brightening people’s days, and helping to create lasting memories. Rides for The Waters of White Bear Lake residents took place along the sidewalk in front of the community, and in the parking lot as well.
