(Twin Cities) – Fans of a good mystery will have the opportunity to meet an award-winning mystery author at the Barnes & Noble in the Preston Royal Shopping Center (5959 Royal Lane) in Dallas, Tex., on Wed., April 24, between 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Marilyn Jax, will sign copies of her latest novel, “Sapphire Trails,” along with her other two highly acclaimed books, “Road to Omalos” and “The Find.” All three titles are murder mysteries featuring fictional Miami-based private investigators Claire Caswell and Gaston “Guy” Lombard.
“Sapphire Trails” is set at a lodge in the mountains of Montana. “Road to Omalos,” winner of several book awards, including the prestigious Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Mystery/Suspense of 2011 and the International Book Award for Best Fiction Thriller/Adventure of 2011, is set in Miami and on the Greek Island of Crete. “The Find,” which has won six book awards, including a 2008 Indie Excellence Award, is set in Miami and the Caribbean.

Marilyn Jax served as a veteran, senior government enforcement investigator for close to two decades, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)-retired. She is also an international award-winning mystery author who draws on her vast experience as an investigator as she crafts her spellbinding story lines filled with vivid settings and unforgettable characters.
She developed and teaches a Mystery Writer's Workshop where she shares her secrets for writing a compelling mystery filled with suspense, tension, intriguing plots, haunting characters, clues, twists and turns, red herrings, and more.
